2007 was the second consecutive year that Coldwell Banker listed Beverly Hills as the most expensive housing market in the United States. As of that date, the median home price was listed at over $2.2M. Available homes range from extravagant and luxurious mansions to a broad selection of elegant modern dwellings.
Beverly Hills’ northwest boundary meets the Los Angeles community of Bel-Air and the Santa Monica Mountains. To the east are West Hollywood and the Fairfax District of Los Angeles. Directly to the south lies the Beverlywood neighborhood. Together with Holmby Hills, Beverly Hills and Bel-Air delineate the exclusive residential area which has come to be known as The Platinum Triangle.
Academic training is provided to the Beverly Hills community by the Beverly Hills Unified School District, which includes the Beverly Hills High School, the Moreno High School, and four K-8 Schools (Beverly Vista, El Rodeo, Horace Mann, Hawthorne). The region is also served by a number of excellent private schools, including Emanuel Academy of Beverly Hills, the Good Shepherd School, Harkem Hillel Hebrew Academy, and Page Private School.
